CPB PROGRAM CHALLENGE FUND
Deadlines: Submissions must be in CPB's offices by 5PM EST on the following dates: August 7, 2008 and December 4, 2008
The Program Challenge Fund was created in 1987 to support high profile, primetime limited series and specials for the national public television schedule. The Challenge Fund is jointly administered by CPB and PBS, which make funding decisions based on mutually established programming goals and objectives.
Note: There is no standard application process for the Program Challenge Fund, and producers should submit projects according to the general CPB Recommended Submission Guidelines. Producers should also contact PBS. Only those projects deemed to meet the Challenge Fund priorities by CPB and PBS programming teams will be among the final projects considered for investment at the appropriate Program Challenge Fund meeting.

THE IMAGEN AWARDS – CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Imagen Foundation seeks to recognize and reward positive portrayals of Latinos in all forms of media, as well as to encourage and recognize the achievements of Latinos in the entertainment and communications industries. In keeping with its mission, The Imagen Foundation cordially invites all members of the entertainment and communications industries to participate in the 23rd Annual Imagen Awards Competition.

ITVS FUNDING DEADLINES
ITVS funds, presents and promotes award-winning documentaries and dramas on public television and cable, innovative new media projects on the Web and the Emmy Award-winning weekly series Independent Lens Tuesday nights at 10:00 PM on PBS.
LINCS - Deadline: May 30, 2008
LINKING INDEPENDENTS AND CO-PRODUCING STATIONS (LINCS) provides matching funds (up to $100,000) to partnerships between public television stations and independent producers. To apply for LINCS funds, independents must first approach a public television station and establish a partnership. Single shows in any genre will be considered. Non-fiction projects must have begun production as evidenced by a work-in-progress tape.
OPEN CALL - Deadline: Friday, July 18, 2008
Open Call provides finishing funds for single public television programs on any subject, from any viewpoint and in any genre. Projects must have begun production as evidenced by a work-in-progress tape.

CENTER FOR ASIAN AMERICAN MEDIA – FUNDING INITIATIVES
The Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting stories that convey the richness and diversity of Asian American experiences to the broadest audience possible. We do this by funding, producing, distributing and exhibiting works in film, television and digital media.
Open Door Completion Fund - Deadline: August 7, 2008 by 5pm Pacific (not postmark date)
Offered twice a year, this round of funding is for applicants with projects in the final post-production phase. To be eligible a full-length rough cut must be submitted with the proposal. Awards average $20,000 and CAAM funds should be the last monies needed to finish the project and deliver the broadcast master.
